Can they be put outdoors? Can I spray them with a UV Protectant to put them outdoors?
Nearly Natural's #1 priority will always be to cultivate the best products for their customers. Because of this, if the title includes “Indoor/Outdoor” or “UV resistant,” you can use it outdoors. But note that UV resistance offers a bit more protection against natural elements such as the sun. How long your new product lasts depends on the environment. With various natural elements such as snow, hurricanes, deserts, and the sun, predicting is hard. Products in covered patios with limited sun exposure can last quite some time. While ones placed in hot climates left in full sun exposure all day won’t last as long. Nearly Natural does not offer UV-resistant spray, nor can they recommend the effective use of any available today.
How are product heights or sizes measured?
Nearly Natural makes every effort to display products as accurately as possible. They measure dimensions after each item is shaped, as you see in the photo, and taken from the widest or tallest reference points. For the height, they start at the floor, the bottom of the pot (even if it’s non-decorative, and a simple black planter.) They then measure the tallest leaf, flower, or branch, think the top of a Christmas tree. There may be some subtle differences after you have some fun DIY customizing. They generally provide the dimensions of the planter or vase as a reference as well.
How do I clean, care for and maintain artificial flowers, plants, and trees?
While Nearly Natural's selection of faux plants eliminates the need for daily maintenance, you will periodically want to clean it and wipe away any dust it might have gathered. They recommend doing this with a feather duster or a microfiber cleaning cloth and/or spare cleaning towelettes, gently dusting and removing any excess dirt, dust, and debris from your artificial plants.
Can I remove the plant/flowers/tree from the planter/vase in the picture? Can I purchase just the plant/flower/tree with no base/pot?
Nearly Natural items are not meant to be removed from the vase or pot they are shipped in. They are permanently set into that container and attempting to remove them could cause damage to the plants/trees/flowers. They have an assortment of items that they provide without planters/vases.
When I receive my artificial plant, how do I make it look real straight out of the box? Why doesn’t the plant/tree/arrangement look like it does in the photos online?
The beauty of Nearly Natural's products is that you can create the perfect fit for you. Have an apartment? Dorm? Or your first home? You are in control of your space. These fun DIY projects allow you to wear your “creative thinking hat” as our products arrive in plastic wrapping and need extra shaping love. Here are some tips from lead designers about how to fluff your tree:
1. Work from the bottom up and center out
2. Look at the picture as a reference point
Example – With a tree, start with the lowest branches and shape them as close to the trunk as possible.
