What is Instacart Business and how is it different from regular Instacart?
Instacart Business is a service designed to cater specifically to the needs of businesses. It provides features like business profiles, which help separate your business and personal shopping, and offers specific benefits like 2% back in credits on orders of $250 or more. In the future, they'll also be
rolling out more business specific SKUs in your business profile (including larger pack sizes) and more deals and incentives that are specifically focused on helping businesses procure the items that they need.
How do I activate my free Instacart+ membership?
Visit the HostGPO x Instacart Business Member Portal Page and click the "Sign Up" button. Once on the HostGPO x Instacart Business website, click the "Get Started" button to create a new account. If you are new to Instacart, you must use the provided link so that Instacart correctly sets your account up correctly with your HostGPO discounts. If you already have an Instacart account and want to attach a business profile to it, click “Login” and input the email address associated with your current account.
Does Instacart charge more on items for business than personal?
No, Instacart does not charge more for items that you buy in your business profile vs. your personal profile. In fact, it is often more cost-efficient to shop in your business profile when you are placing larger orders for your business since we offer 2% back on all orders of $250 or more when you have an active Instacart+ subscription.
What does the 2% back in credits mean?
When you spend $250 or more on any order using your business profile, you get 2% back in credits, for the first year. This means for every $250 spent, you receive $5 back in credits that can be used on future orders.
Is there a limit to how many times I can use the $10 off on orders of $100 or more benefit?
The $10 off when you spend $100 or more promotion is a one-time offer and is limited to one per member.
Will the same items that I purchase from my personal account still be available in my business profile?
Yes, all of the products that you purchase today in your personal profile will be available in your business profile, and in the future, you’ll start to see additional selections. The only difference is that in your business profile, you’ll get the benefit of 2% back on all orders of $250 or more when you use your Instacart+ subscription.
Will the credit card on file and all of the orders we have already placed show up on the business account?
Your credit cards, addresses, and buy-it-again will get carried over but your order history and saved lists won’t be carried over.
How many users can you have for your account?
In the coming months, Instacart will be rolling out ways for you to link multiple instacart profiles (or buyers) to one account so that you can manage all of the accounts for your company within one interface. You'll be receiving an email from Instacart once this feature is rolled out!
What if I'm already an Instacart+ user?
If you're an existing Instacart+ member, don't worry about missing out on this incredible partnership. Simply turn off the auto-renew feature in your current Instacart+ subscription. After that, click the HostGPO activation link on the portal landing page. Once your existing subscription expires, your FREE year of Instacart+ will automatically activate! (plus the $10 off your first order!)

What happens after the free year of instacart+ is up?
After your first free year with Instacart+, you can continue at $9.99/month or $99/year.
How do I cancel?
If at any point you'd like to cancel, you can do so from within your Instacart account directly.
