Member Spotlight: Stockholm Haus
Founder: Miranda Gray
Preview: Miranda Gray built more than just a vacation rental when she created Stockholm Haus. She created a retreat rooted in heritage, intentional design, and the power of connection. Located in Stockholm, Wisconsin - a town Miranda describes as one of the most beautiful in the country - the property sits on nearly 400 acres of family land that has been passed down for generations.
Although Miranda now lives in Boca Raton, Florida, her heart never left Wisconsin. When the opportunity came to build on her family’s land, she saw the chance to create something deeply personal. Stockholm Haus is her way of sharing that cherished space with others.
With support from HostGPO, Miranda brought her vision to life. Furnishing a luxury property of this scale was no small task, especially while juggling her roles as a mom and full-time professional. But through HostGPO, Miranda was able to access high-quality furnishings and design support that matched her aesthetic, budget, and timeline.
On Her Experience With HostGPO:
"I was overwhelmed trying to manage it all on my own. Signing up for HostGPO was a turning point. Jen, my rep, understood my goals, timeline, and aesthetic. She introduced me to products I didn’t even know existed and made the process feel effortless and personal."
Design Vision:
Stockholm Haus features two connected homes with distinct personalities. The main house is dark, moody, and sensual, while the guest house is light, creamy, and calming. Scandinavian minimalism anchors both spaces, creating a sense of elegance and peace. Every piece was chosen with intention, from the oversized coffee table to the thick, solid bed frames that blend farmhouse charm with modern style.
Guest Experiences:
Since opening, Stockholm Haus has hosted vow renewals, leadership retreats, corporate gatherings, birthday celebrations, and bridal parties. The property is designed to bring people together, whether around the expansive dining table or beside the 45-foot pool and cabana.
Pro Tip for Hosts:
Design for connection. Miranda believes the most impactful stays happen when guests are encouraged to unplug and reconnect with themselves and each other. That principle guided every design decision she made.
