What pool sizes are available?
Ranch Pools offers three standard sizes:
6' diameter - fits 2 to 4 adults
8' diameter - fits 4 to 6 adults
10' diameter - fits 6 to 8 or more adults (available only in Texas)
All pools are about 2 feet tall and come in Classic or Premium models.
Will the pool or water get too hot?
The water usually stays comfortable, but the steel rim can heat up in direct sun. Premium models come with a liner that helps reduce this. For added comfort, many customers set up their pools in shaded areas or add umbrellas.
Do Ranch Pools rust?
Classic pools are galvanized steel, which is naturally rust-resistant but may show wear over time, especially with chlorine use. Premium pools include a full poly liner that protects the interior from corrosion and helps extend the life of the pool.
What kind of maintenance is required?
Pool care is simple:
Add a chlorine tablet weekly
Skim the surface as needed
Run the included pump regularly
Everything you need for routine maintenance is included, along with setup instructions.
What kind of outlet do I need?
You’ll need a standard 120V outlet within 25 feet of the pool. If you’re adding a heater, the outlet should be within 5 feet for safe operation.
How should I prepare the setup area?
Choose a solid, flat surface like concrete, pavers, or level dirt. Make sure there’s a clear delivery path at least 2.5 feet wide and 6 to 10 feet tall, depending on the pool size. The pool should be fully in place before filling it with water.
Is a permit required?
In most areas, stock tank pools do not require a permit, but we recommend checking with your local municipality to be sure.
What kind of warranty comes with the pool?
Each pool includes a one-year manufacturer warranty on the pump. If you’re located in Texas, Ranch Pools also offers onsite support for installation issues within the first 21 days after delivery.
