How will the mattress arrive to my door?
Birch Mattresses are delivered in a box for easy transportation and installation. On your day of delivery, your Birch mattress will arrive in a long and narrow box, measuring approximately 42” L x 19” W x 19” H. Package weights will vary by size, ranging from 68 pounds for a Twin to 145 pounds for a King and CA King.

Do I need a box spring for my Birch Mattress?
Although a foundation isn’t required, a support system for your mattress is highly recommended. Birch recommends using a bunkie board with a box spring or any support system with firm, flat, and thick slats. No matter which support system you choose, the slats should be no wider than 5 inches apart as that could cause sagging and could potentially void your warranty.

How do I verify my discount has been applied?
After requesting a coupon code from the Birch partner page, enter the code at checkout to instantly apply your discount.

How will the mattress be shipped to me? 
Your mattress is gently compressed, rolled, and put in a box that’s about the size of a bag of golf clubs for easy shipping!

How can I make changes to my delivery with FedEx?
By signing up for a free FedEx Delivery Manager account, you can customize your deliveries by holding packages for pickup, changing the delivery address, or authorizing the release of packages without requiring a signature. I just opened the box, now what?
You’re almost there - but let’s give it some time! When you first open your Birch mattress, you’ll see it quickly expand to its full shape and size. But it’s not quite ready for you to jump on top and get cozy. Birch recommends giving your mattress two full hours to fully expand with no weight on its surface. Read a book. Take a walk. Watch an episode or two of your favorite Netflix show. Your Birch mattress will be ready before you know it!

How long can I leave the mattress in the box?
Birch suggests leaving the mattress in its box for up to 4 weeks after it is delivered. They do not recommend leaving it longer than that due to the structure creation of the foam.

Can I return my mattress?
Birch returns are honored for mattress manufacturing defects only.

What are the mattress sizes?
All Birch Mattresses are 11” tall.

Twin: 39" x 75"
Twin XL: 39" x 80"
Full: 54" x 75"
Queen: 60" x 80"
King: 76" x 80"
California King: 72" x 84"

Please note that, due to the handmade nature of Birch products, mattress dimensions can vary by up to 1” on any given side.
