Depending upon the order, Article offers three shipping methods, summarized below. The Article team can also arrange consolidated delivery when applicable, and they do not charge any additional fees for consolidation. |
Front Door Delivery
Front Door Delivery is Article's default delivery option. Front Door Delivery means:
- They’ll deliver your item(s) to the front door of your house or apartment on the scheduled day and time.
- On delivery day, you’ll receive a notification when their team is approximately 30 minutes away.
- Your signature won’t be required — their team will simply photograph your order at your doorstep as proof of delivery.
- If you live in a multi-unit apartment building, they'll deliver to your front door whenever possible. If your building is restricting access to non-residents, their team will deliver to the closest point to your home that they’re safely able to.
- Orders over $200 have a $49 Front Door Delivery cost.
- Small items and items under $200 will have a $19 shipping cost and are delivered via FedEx.
*If shipping to Hawaii or Alaska, small items and items under $200, have a $249 flat-rate Front Door Delivery cost per order, and are delivered via FedEx. Orders over $200 have a $749 flat-rate Front Door Delivery cost per order.
In-Room Delivery
Need some extra muscle? Article's team is here to help. Here’s what to expect from their $119 In-Room Delivery service:
- Once the items arrive at your local delivery center, Article will reach out to set up the delivery of your order.
- They'll bring your order beyond the doorstep and into whatever room you’d like. (Don’t worry, they always bring shoe covers to keep your home sparkling clean.)
- While they don’t unbox the item, here are some helpful tips on how to unbox like a pro.
- On delivery day, you’ll receive a notification when their team is approximately 30 minutes away.
- They'll require your signature to confirm the delivery.
- Delivery teams are following local mandates and guidelines, making masks optional in some areas. However, you can always request that masks and/or gloves be worn for your delivery and they'll be happy to accommodate.
*If shipping to Hawaii or Alaska, orders over $200 have a $849 flat-rate shipping cost per order.
In-Room + Assembly Delivery
Is putting together furniture not really your thing? Select the $199 In-Room + Assembly Delivery service to start enjoying your purchase faster. Here’s how it works:
- Once the items arrive at your local delivery center, Article will reach out to set up the delivery of your order.
- Article will bring your order beyond the doorstep and into whatever room you’d like. (Don’t worry, they always bring shoe covers to keep your home sparkling clean.)
- They'll assemble the furniture, so you can just lean back and admire your excellent taste.
- They'll require your signature to confirm the delivery.
- On delivery day, you’ll receive a notification when their team is approximately 30 minutes away.
- While their delivery teams are very handy, they don’t install items that will permanently modify your space (such as anti-tipping hardware or securing any items to your walls). To see how much assembly your items require, check out the Assembly Instructions that can be found on each product page.
- The delivery teams are following local mandates and guidelines, making masks optional in some areas. However, you can always request that masks and/or gloves be worn for your delivery, and they'll be happy to accommodate.
