Orders will ship freight through Backyard Discovery's logistics network and then be handed off to a local delivery provider for the final delivery. Once the shipment reaches the local terminal, the delivery team will typically contact you within about 24 hours to schedule delivery, and delivery is usually completed within approximately 3 days after that call.
 
The delivery service is considered threshold delivery, which means the team will bring the items up to or just inside the home.
 
The items will arrive flat packed and un-assembled, and the shipment is typically split into around 8 boxes depending on the specific unit ordered. Most boxes are under 250 lbs.

Pro tip: You can set up a free FedEx Delivery Manager account to make changes to your incoming deliveries, including the option to have FedEx hold your packages for up to two weeks. This would allow you to schedule the final leg of delivery to your STR on a day that works best for you.
