What is the difference between Standard & Semi-Gloss?
Standard is ideal for pretty much any interior wall surface. Standard Finish is a semi-matte with a 6% sheen level, which means it's not shiny and hides imperfections in the surface with a really premium look but doesn’t sacrifice durability. Semi-Gloss Finish is a bit higher gloss with a 30% sheen level, which is ideal for doors, trim, bathrooms, and kitchens - areas that take a bit more of a beating.
Do I need a primer with Backdrop paints?
Backdrop paint is considered self-priming and has great coverage which means you usually don’t need primer. We recommend 2 coats of paint for the best finish. If you’re painting a previously painted interior wall surface, you most likely don’t need a primer unless you are going from dark to light color.

How can I make changes to my delivery with UPS or FedEx?

They've got a manual for that right here! For your convenience, Backdrop will also include a hard copy in each shipment of paint.
Are there any exclusions?
Our discount applies to Backdrop paint. Painting services and rugs are not included.
Does Backdrop accept returns?
Yes! You can return any unopened paint or any unused and unopened supplies. There is a $10 restocking fee per paint can returned, and/or a $10 restocking fee per order for supplies returned. Original order shipping fees are non-refundable. Five Five-gallon buckets, sample swatches, and apparel are final sale. See the full return policy for more details.
